The purpose of this wiki is to share the findings of the Living Building Science VIP team at Georgia Tech to help scientists, engineers, architecs, and contractors make science-based decisions about constructing sustainable buildings.
Living Building Science is a Georgia Tech VIP team studying the sustainable systems embedded in the Kendeda Building for Innovative Sustainable Design in Atlanta. We have an additional team focused on Air Quality which is a separate section of the course.
The instructional team is:
Consultants are:
- Steve Place (Horticulture/Waste)
And currently consists of three subteams:
- Biodiversity - Wildlife
- Soils
- Greywater Wetland
Here are the archived projects:
- Liquid Waste Nitrification (inactive)
- Machine Learning (inactive)
- Remote Sensing of Honey Bees (inactive)
- Air Quality (inactive)
- Hydroponics (inactive)
- Condensate (inactive)
- Materials (inactive)
